DHS Selection Process
The selection process details will be announced soon on the official DHS Assam website. The department can cancel any candidate’s application if they find the person doesn’t meet the requirements or if there are any problems with their documents at any point during the recruitment.
However, based on how DHS Assam has conducted similar recruitments before, the process is usually straightforward. Here’s what typically happens:
First, DHS Assam holds a written exam that all candidates must take. Based on how well candidates perform in this written test, they create a shortlist of people who will move to the next round. These shortlisted candidates are then called for either a Skill Test or Interview (depending on the job requirements) along with document verification to confirm their qualifications.
After completing all these steps, DHS Assam prepares a final merit list ranking all candidates. The top-performing candidates from this list get selected for the available positions.
To help you prepare, we’ve included an expected syllabus for the written examination that DHS Assam is likely to conduct for this recruitment.
